We envisioned Creekside at Bethpage to be an active adult community that stood out among the rest—from our ranch-style homes plans and the approachable Hemingway Hall recreation center and amenity offerings to the winding layout of this Triangle area community, every detail was considered. What we didn’t anticipate, sin embargo, was the true kindness and neighborly spirit our homeowners would create in such as short amount of time.
With permission from our Creekside at Bethpage Sales Manager Renee Drake, a soon-to-be homeowner set up a collection box at the Sales Center to gather new stuffed animals for children affected by the recent hurricanes. “This bighearted individual wanted the children to have something warm and cuddly to snuggle with during this devastating time of loss,” said Drake. “We realized our Sales Center was the prime location for the effort as it would allow her to gain attention from other prospective buyers, current Creekside at Bethpage homeowners and our AV Homes team.”
Not only was the stuffed animal collection effort a success, but we also heard from numerous prospects and homeowners commending AV Homes’ kindness and willingness to support a new neighbor’s generous act of humanity. In the words of the charitable neighbor who organized the collection, “You have made some amazing children smile in the face of disaster… I am humbled and so very grateful… You are the builder with a heart.”
We’re proud of our Creekside at Bethpage culture and the considerate people we have living in our homes and working on our teams.
