Solivita: An Active Adult Community With Great Amenities
Active Adult communities are springing up all over the country. Many of the people in this demographic look toward states like Florida to have the specifications and amenities the areas offer.
Solivita, a 55+ community in Central Florida, is a great example of why these communities are so popular. In the past when people thought about communities for people over the age of 55, they thought of a white-haired grandma making cookies for grandkids, or playing shuffleboard in plaid pants.
However, with the rapid emergence of active adult communities, that image is changing. Much of this is driven by Baby Boomers, people who actively seek modern spas/fitness centers, walking and jogging paths and resort-style pools.
With modern technology and massive improvements in healthcare, people reaching age 55 are no longer viewed as hitting a downward milestone in their life. People are looking to enjoy an active and fun life during this phase of their life, and want to live around others who share this view.
They’re looking for areas that allow them to meet friends, exercise, enjoy their surroundings, and have great times at planned events.
Solivita offers them just that, including activity directors and classes such as yoga and indoor cycling. These classes enable residents to easily find something fun to keep their bodies and minds active and healthy.
Societies for people who want to enjoy their lives are springing up across the country, offering a full schedule of activities in specific and niche communities.
Active Adult communities in Florida offers a club for whatever interests you — acting, foreign films, meditation, billiards, drumming, and model rail roads are just a few of the clubs you can find. With a large number of residents in your community, you’re bound to meet someone who shares your interests.

Active Adult communities should not be confused with assisted living facilities. One is nothing like the other.
Active Adult communities, often called 55+ communities, are neighborhoods that look and feel just like most other local neighborhoods. An exception is they offer their residence convenience, amenities, and plenty of activities.
These communities also offer a range of floorplans and home prices. Home styles range from modular homes to your ultimate luxury home. There are opportunities for extensive activities. As an example, Solivita offers a lifestyle geared towards those in their retirement years.
