The 2017 Spring Parade of Homes™ judges honored AV/ROYAL OAK HOMES, a Central Florida leading homebuilder and developer, with Outstanding Feature Awards for their Parade entries. The Spring Parade of Homes™, a long-standing community event produced annually by the Greater Orlando Builders Association, showcases the new homes available in Central Florida and is the largest judged home tour in the area. Home entries are visited and evaluated by out-of-area homebuilding industry leaders.

AV HOMES, a Central Florida leading homebuilder and developer, is offering Florida homebuyers up to $5,000 to spend on something they need to “make their new house feel like a home.” To qualify, homebuyers must purchase one of the spectacular quick move-in homes in any AV Homes’ or Royal Oak Homes’ community in the Central Florida area, Jacksonville or Port St. Lucie. Contracts must be written and signed between April 10th and May 1st, with the closing taking place by June 30th, 2017.

An improving economy is expected to make it easier for buyers to secure financing, with more people gainfully employed and qualifying for mortgages. Sites like Realtor.com and Iman.com are predicting that a growing number of first time home buyers will get into the real estate market this year, with strong demand for single family homes and townhouses. The sites also predict that the increased demand for homes will prompt builders to ramp up construction. In other words, a solid real estate market could get even stronger and healthier this year. For both buyers and builders, here are some projected trends for 2017 to keep in mind as the new year begins.
